About Zandra
An artist with a mission.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio , Zandra S. Solomon has lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 5 years. She earned her BFA from Georgia State University.
Solomon works across mediums including painting, installation, and mixed media. Her work often incorporates found materials such as botanicals, military seabags, dog tags, and boot strings, exploring themes of storytelling, and healing—especially in relation to life after military service.
Her work has been exhibited in Georgia, New York, London, Virginia, New Jersey and Ohio, with group and solo exhibitions that center veteran narratives, post-service identity, and community restoration.
Solomon’s work is part of private collections and is gaining recognition for its distinct voice at the intersection of contemporary art and social healing. She has collaborated with veteran-focused nonprofits, curated community events, and continues to build a body of work rooted in remembrance, and cultural reclamation.
